How To Request a UPS Delivery Intercept
You can request an intercept from the tracking detail page when tracking your package, through your My Choice for Business® dashboard, or you can follow the steps below to request one from your shipping history. Please note: you must request an intercept prior to delivery.

- Once you have selected the appropriate package(s), you can choose between the different delivery change options available.
- You’ll be prompted to provide a bit of additional info in order to submit the request.

How do I intercept a package before it's delivered?
UPS Delivery Intercept allows eligible shippers to request changes to a shipment before delivery. Depending on eligibility, you can return the package to the sender, deliver it to another address, reschedule delivery, or hold it for pickup. Requests can be made through the tracking details page, UPS My Choice® for Business, or your shipping history.
How do I return a package to sender with UPS?
If you're the shipper, you can request a UPS Delivery Intercept Return to Sender before the package is delivered. This option redirects the shipment back to the original sender and may be available for eligible packages still in transit.
Can I request a UPS address change after a package has been shipped?
Yes. If your shipment is eligible, UPS Delivery Intercept can be used to reroute a package to a new delivery address before it is delivered. Address changes must be requested while the package is still in transit and before delivery is completed.
What delivery changes can I make with UPS Delivery Intercept?
UPS Delivery Intercept provides several delivery change options for eligible shipments, including returning a package to sender, changing the delivery address, rescheduling delivery for a future date, or holding the package for pickup. Fees may apply, and requests must be submitted before delivery.
