How do I import contacts to my profile when shipping?
You can import up to 2,000 contacts into your profile. You can choose to add contacts or overwrite your existing contacts. Writing over your existing contacts will replace all contacts with your imported information.
Contacts can be imported to your profile from the following address books:
- WorldShip® Address Book
- WorldShip International Address Book
- DHL.com® Address Book
- DHL EasyShip® Address Book
- DHL CorporateShip Address Book
- FedEx Ship Manager® Address Book
- FedEx.com Address Book
You can also export your ups.com contacts, edit as needed, and import the updated file to your profile.
How to format your file
Your import file must be in CSV (comma separated value) format. Each entry should be on a separate row. The values for each entry must be separated by a delimiter, in this case a comma. The file must include the comma delimiter, even for optional fields that you are leaving blank, and the values must be in the order specified below.
If you are using Microsoft Excel to create this file, each value should be in a separate column and you cannot use column headers. You will need to manually change the file format to .csv when saving the file.
